Airfare is not included. We suggest that your use Google Flights, Hopper, or another aggregators to find the best airfare. Remember, we are only discussing searching for flights at this point, not the actual booking. We suggest using Google Flights, Hopper, Kayak, and Skyscanner to compare and track flights. Before deciding on a flight, it's a good idea to check options on at least two of these search engines to ensure you've seen all possible options. Do not buy the cheapest airfare unless you are willing to forfeit that money to the airline if your plans change. (Those fares are usually non-refundable, or changeable). While the preceding suggested search tools are convenient, we don't recommend booking flights through them. They often lead to third-party websites, which can cause issues if you need to make changes or cancel your booking. In such cases, the airline won't be able to help you directly. Our advice is to use these tools to search for flights but make your actual reservation on the airline's website.

How to get to Strasbourg: By train - there are numerous direct train services from Paris - 2+hours by high-speed train - more than 20 return services between Paris and Strasbourg each day. Our hotel is 3-minutes away from the Strasbourg Train Station with the Cathedral just 15 minutes away. By Plane - direct flights from Munich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, and Rome: Strasbourg Airport (SXB) is located in Entzheim, 10 km from the city center (junction 8 of the A35 motorway). A shuttle train service runs between the airport and Strasbourg station four times an hour (a 9-minute journey).

IMPORTANT NOTES: This tour is only appropriate for those who can walk independently without an assistive device. Unfortunately, we cannot make accommodations or assist with any mobility challenges. This is not a particularly physically demanding journey; however there is moderate walking over uneven surfaces, and some stairs, as well as sitting or standing for long periods of time.

We strongly advise purchasing comprehensive Medical/Travel Insurance for your trip. For our age group, it's crucial to secure Primary Emergency Medical Insurance with a minimum coverage of $200,000 USD, including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also recommend an all-inclusive plan that covers trip cancellation and interruption. Many insurance companies offer more favorable terms for pre-existing conditions if you purchase their policy shortly after making your initial trip deposit. If you're unsure about total trip costs due to pending arrangements like airfare, don't delay; simply contact your chosen insurance provider to increase your coverage amount later as needed.
